Mel brings top-tier organizational and business knowledge to the local handyman industry, holding three Master’s Degrees—a Master's in Business and Policy Studies, a Master's in Information Design, and an MBA in Technology Management. She even shares her expertise with others as an adjunct professor.
For our customers, Mel's extensive operational background means one simple thing: a handyman service you can actually rely on. While James is out in the field handling the tools, Mel is managing the logistics. She is the driving force guaranteeing that someone will always return your calls, provide transparent communication, and follow up to ensure you are completely satisfied with the job.
James has provided over 30 years of dedicated customer service and a lifetime of hands-on construction and home improvement experience, James brings a unique blend of technical skill and professional reliability to every job.
Having managed retail home improvement stores and worked extensively with building materials, James developed a comprehensive understanding of project execution from the ground up. He pairs this industry knowledge with an unwavering commitment to exceptional customer care. When James says he will answer the phone and show up on time, he has the professional track record to prove it.
Beyond his management background, James is a true tradesman at heart. He has spent years executing complex home improvements, from full deck replacements and flooring installations to updating kitchens and handling plumbing and electrical upgrades. Inspired by caring for his own family, James is especially passionate about critical safety installations—like secure grab bars and custom accessibility ramps—ensuring your loved ones can navigate their homes safely and with dignity.

Our Why:
Inspired by the needs of our own parents, we recognized the critical importance of safety items needed when coming home from the hospital. We helped our fathers return home with dignity quickly versus waiting on a long list for a contractor.
Through this process we learned how dehumanizing it is to be unable to help or get help in the time you need it.

Both of our fathers struggled with complex medical issues that required at home adjustments.
